Alumni Profile: Rebecca Terry '97
 
Winner of the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship, Rebecca is pursuing her Ph.D. in Paleontology at the University of Chicago.
 
In 2007, she was awarded the prestigious Alfred Sherwood Romer Prize by the Society of Vertebrate Paleontology. Her work analyzes small mammal remains from the last 10,000 years, demonstrating changes in ecology from paleontological evidence.

Orchestra Performance
 
The NW Sinfonietta, featuring NWS faculty member Gretchen Yanover on the cello, will be performing at Benaroya Hall on Friday, November 21st at 7:30 PM.
 
The evening's program includes de Falla's 3 Cornered Hat Suite, Debussy's Petite Suite, Ravel's Piano Concerto in G, and Ravel's Tombeau de Couperin.
 
An inaugural season special includes free parking and appetizers. Please contact Gretchen for more details. A flier will be available in the main office too.
